Brief description of the Stardust Casino and Hotel:

Las Vegas Nevada., was known for little more than tumbleweeds before the Stardust Resort and Casino was established at the North End of what is now the Las Vegas Strip. Today, guests arrive by air and fly into McCarran International Airport, five miles from the Hotel. conveniently situated, this venerable resort is within one mile of the Fashion Show Mall and Las Vegas Convention Center. Around-The-Clock Gaming action in the 85,000 square-foot casino includes craps, roulette, pai gow, baccarat, blackjack, race and sports book. Big Bands jam in the Stardust Ballroom and award winning entertainers perform nightly at this exciting resort. The tropical garden pool complex includes two seasonal outdoor pools, one free form and the other retangular to accomodates various swimming styles. An imposing sandstone structure flanked by palm groves rises between the pools and shades an expensive 24-hour spa tub.

The resort offers a shopping promenade, limited hour fitness center and a limited-hour buisness center that has wireless internet access, office supplies, fax, photocopying and printing services. Meeting rooms and ballrooms accomodate groups that range from 50 to 3,500 people. Nine dining options include the turn of the century ambience of William B's Steak House that showcases sepia-toned photographs and specializes in steak, chops and seafood dishes. Sushi King offers Japanese cuisine and the 24-Hour Island Paradise Cafe serves snacks or full course meals.

This Hotel houses 1,552 guestrooms and suites in two and nine story wings, and a 32-story tower. Guestrooms are decorated in warm gold tones with elegant dark wood armoires and dining tables. Most floors have wireless Internet access.
